Daniel Allen - just the facts

Daniel Allen 22 Mar 1777 – 22 Dec 1835


Daniel Allen was born to Daniel Joseph Allen and Dorcas Dibble in Lennox, Berkshire, Massachusetts, Usa on 22 Mar 1777. He was the last of four children. He married Nancy Agnes Stewart on 12 Feb 1793 in Colrain, Franklin, Massachusetts, Usa. They had eleven children Daniel was a doctor and the family moved around quite a bit, looking for better opportunities for education and income. Daniel also served in the war with England in 1812. Eventually, the family ended up in Geauga Co, Ohio where they lived until Daniel and Nancy’s deaths.
